Deborah Stapleton founded the successful IR firm, Stapleton Communications Inc., in 1992, after working as Vice President of Corporate Communications at various technology firms in the Silicon Valley. She now handles Investor Relations through her consultancy, Deborah Stapleton Communications, with her partner, Alexis Pascal.
Deborah started her communications career in Dallas as a newspaper reporter, but quickly moved into the agency world handling technology accounts as Vice President of Keller Crescent and Vice President of Bozell & Jacobs, well-known advertising and public relations agencies. She moved to California to become Vice President of Corporate Communications at Maxtor Corporation, handling all investor relations, advertising, public relations and corporate communications.
She started Stapleton Communications, Inc. shortly thereafter, at one time supervising more than 35 employees. The firm handled more than 30 IPOs and specialized in helping young public companies navigate beyond the IPO process by building successful, long-term IR programs and representing clients to Wall Street and the financial media.
Today Deborah Stapleton Communications is a full-service boutique IR firm that represents technology companies in strategic and day-to-day investor relations activities.
